A school retreat is an off-school gathering of a group of teacher, class or advisory of similarly engaged students, teacher – co-workers, team members, managers, board members – with the purpose of digging deeply into issues. The gathering is held offsite/off-campus so that the group can focus and not be distracted by the goings on in an office, school, class or by their day-to-day life.
